Vital Tips On How To Buy A Reliable Land Anywhere In Nigeria.


1. Make sure you visit ministry of land to know if the land is not
under government acquisition.

2. Make sure you make your findings around the premises where the land
is located to know if the family selling the land are the real owner.

3. Make sure the land owners erect their sign post on the land to show
they are the real owner. If they are not the real owner, their
signpost can’t stay one week on the land. The real owner would have
removed it.

4. After making part of the payment; erect your own signpost on the
land. E.g.: this land now belong to MR. FELIX GABRIEL, if it’s not
genuine, your signpost will not stay there for a week. If after two
weeks, nobody removes your signpost, you can balance the land owner.

5. Make sure you see signs of previous buyers like corner pieces with
different beacons on the land.

6. Check the demand for rental properties in the local area. If it is a new area in the outer suburbs with limited social infrastructure, then it may not be an attractive location for people to rent a home, and you could struggle to achieve a reasonable rental return.

7. Before buying any land, consider the road network and development
of that area..Especially Electricity and water.
